Release Agent for core and mould production

PROPERTIES:

ACMOS 118-2492 is suitable for all cold-curing sands used in the manufacture of moulds and cores such as, for example, in the furan resin, phenolic resin, COLD-BOX or CO2 processes.

It is particularly suitable for older wooden patterns, the surface of which is smoothed by the varnish-like parting film.

ACMOS 118-2492 is a wax dispersion containing aluminium pigment.

The product can also be supplied under the designation ACMOS 118-92 in containers of 4,5 kg and 18 kg capacity for spray application using hand-operated spray guns or automatic spray systems.

APPLICATION:

Aerosol ACMOS 118-2492 must always be shaken well before each application. ACMOS 118-2492 should be applied thinly and evenly from a distance of about 25 cm. Allow a brief period of 10-20 minutes for the vapours to disperse.

With careful application, several mould release operations can usually be carried out with a single application of parting agent.

Acmos 118-92 is supplied in disposable containers of 4,5 kg, 18 kg net capacity.

Carton with 12 spray cans each containing 400 ml.
