ACMOSIL 37-9831
Sprayable, water based Release Agent with a low solvent content
Advantages:
Excellent release
Minimal cleaning stops
Economic in use
Dry foam surface, gluing without pretreatment in most cases possible
Processing:
The Release Agent should be at room temperature before processing. The contents of drum must be stirred
homogeneously before use. We recommend using an appropriate, low speed (approx. 100 RPM) stirrer for 5 – 10
minutes. This procedure should be repeated for 5 minutes every 24 hours.
Please use a pump for feeding the material, which does not cause high shear forces (e.g. diaphragm pump). The pipe
line should be made of stainless steel or plastic (HDPE) without return flow.
As all ACMOS products pass through an extensive testing process, a filtration before use is not required.
We suggest using needle-controlled air-assisted spray-guns. At normal cycle times the material output should be about 60
– 120 ml/min. This can be achieved by using nozzles of a diameter of 0,5 – 0,8 mm and an appropriate material pressure.
We recommend a thin and uniform application to avoid foam surface disturbances.
Before first coating is applied the mould should be cleaned with an ACMOSOL Mould Cleaner.
New or cleaned moulds should be sealed with the Release Agent two or three times before filling. Please give enough
time for water to evaporate.
Storage:
Stir up thoroughly before use.Do not store outdoors. Protect from heat and cold. Allow products to reach room
temperature before use. Do not leave container open.
Storage temperature: between 10° C and 30° C
Maximum storage: approx. 9 months (originally sealed container)
Please check for material compatibility before use!
